Born and raised in the small town of Tottori Japan, Hurricane TK
started listening to western popular music on the radio in his
early teens. He soon fell in love with the blues and classic rock.
Teaching himself guitar, as well as drums and the piano, soon
he started playing music in several local bands in Japan while
developing a unique style of songwriting. He left Japan for the
U.S. in 1999 to pursue the career as a musician in the country
where blues and rock'n roll was born. Soon Hurricane TK joined
Boston based rock band Riverside Train
(www.riversidetrain.com) as a lead guitar player (performing
under the stage name "T") co-writing songs with the band's
singer Phil Ayoub. The band played shows in some of the most
popular and well-known music venues in the area, quickly
amassing a solid, loyal fan base through its electrifying live
performances. Although the band received great response from
local media and attracted more and more audience, the blues
kept calling him and Hurricane TK eventually left the band to
pursue a career as a solo artist playing his first love. Now
Hurricane TK leads his own band and currently working on his
first CD in studios in New York and Boston while continuing
performing.
